Last night I shot Lenny Kravitz at Irving Plaza here in NY. It was sold out and more packed then i’ve ever seen the place. I’ve never seen Kravitz perform and I was happy I had the chance to last night, because he is a real Rock n’ Roll performer. Standing on speakers, jumping into the crowd, dancing around like a wildman.
But the highlight of my night was seeing Mark Seliger in the photo pit next to me, my idol. Mark got to shoot the entire show, b/c well he’s Mark and had at least 3 or 4 different cameras like I did. My film is being developed and I’m stoked to see how it all comes out. In the meantime, hope you enjoy these quick digi shots from my 5D…
